Welcome to FMM Northern Branch

We are pleased to inform you that due to the overwhelming response received from the industries, the FMM Penang Branch in collaboration with the Jabatan Bomba dan Penyelamat Malaysia, Prai (Prai Fire and Rescue Department) will be organizing a 3-day short term training course on “FIRE FIGHTING & FIRE PREVENTION” from 11 – 13 October 2010.

The course will be conducted in Bahasa Malaysia by qualified trainers and fire fighters from the Jabatan Bomba dan Penyelamat Prai.

Participants of this programme will be required to sit for a written and practical examination and evaluation at the end of the course. A Certificate of participation will be presented by the Jabatan Bomba dan Penyelamat Negeri Pulau Pinang to all successful participants. In addition, participants would also receive a certificate of attendance from the FMM.

FMM Workshop on “Managing International Trade & Maritime Fraud Risks” (PG/23/10)

The Federation of Malaysian Manufacturers (FMM) Penang Branch will be organizing a two-day workshop on “Managing International Trade & Maritime Fraud Risks” on 22 & 23 September 2010 at the E & O Hotel, Penang.

Damage of Bridge Structure at Jalan Perusahaan 4 and Jalan Pusing Balik - Alternative Route (PG/21/2010)

The Penang Bridge Sdn Bhd (PBSB) highlighted its concern over the bridge structure at Jalan Perusahaan 4 and Jalan Pusing Balik (the slip road beside PBSB’s office) which was frequently hit by high vehicles and caused damages to its beam’s soffit.
