Outreach Programme in Collaboration with MITI: Dialogue Session on Strategic Trade Act 2010
The FMM Penang Branch, in collaboration with the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI), will be organizing a Dialogue Session with the Strategic Trade Controller and Dagang Net Technologies Sdn Bhd on Strategic Trade Act 2010 on 09 February 2011 (Thursday), 9.00 am – 12.00 pm, at FMM Penang Branch, 2767, Mukim 1, Lebuh Tenggiri 2, Bandar Seberang Jaya, 13700 Prai, Penang. FMM Penang Seminar on Implementation of Mandatory Standards on Metal Products (Aluminium, Iron and Steel)
Mandatory standards on Aluminium products would be enforced with effect from 01 November 2011. Enforcement is on SIX (6) tariff lines for aluminium foil and sheet. Mandatory standards are to ensure that only products of acceptable quality and meeting safety standards are sold in the domestic market. SHORT TERM TRAINING COURSE ON FIRE FIGHTING & FIRE PREVENTION (PG/40/2011)
We are pleased to inform you that due to the overwhelming response received from the industries, the FMM Penang Branch in collaboration with the Jabatan Bomba dan Penyelamat Malaysia, Prai (Prai Fire and Rescue Department) will be organizing a 3-day short term training course on “FIRE FIGHTING & FIRE PREVENTION” from 13 – 15 February 2012.
The course will be conducted in Bahasa Malaysia by qualified trainers and fire fighters from the Jabatan Bomba dan Penyelamat Prai.
Participants of this programme will be required to sit for a written and practical examination and evaluation at the end of the course. A Certificate of participation will be presented by the Jabatan Bomba dan Penyelamat Negeri Pulau Pinang to all successful participants.
