FMM Northern Branch covers the states of Penang,Kedah & Perlis.The FMM Northern Branch was formed in the year 1969 and has since established itself as a leading economic organisation representing over 300 leading manufacturing and service companies in the northern region.

Membership of FMM is open to all manufacturers and companies (trading,services,institutions,sole proprietor/partnership,etc)registered in Malaysia. Large, small and medium-sized industries, whether foreign or locally owned or operated on a joint-venture basis, are eligible for membership.

URGENT Penang Port Master Plan 2011 – 2030(NB/17/09)
The old Master Plan of the Penang Port covering the period from 1991 to 2010 will be expiring soon. Before the old Master Plan expires, the Penang Port Commission will be conducting a new study.

In this regard, the Federation of Malaysian Manufacturers would like to encourage members to forward your proposals on how the Penang Port can or should develop, taking into consideration of your own expansion needs.

Members' Identification With Federation of Malaysian Manufacturers (FMM) (NB/20/09)
One of the exclusive services for FMM members is the use of a tagline and FMM logo for FMM members as an identification of their membership with FMM. The objective is to allow members to have a sense of belonging and pride to be associated with FMM. Member companies intending to use the FMM logo and tagline, must adhere to the procedure and guidelines given. An official application must be made in writing to FMM together with a Letter of Indemnity( Tagline) before proceeding.

Please note that use of the FMM logo and tagline is subject to the following important guidelines and conditions.
